Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy is written for a month-to-month launch model. Confirm it matches your signed Client Services Agreement before publishing.

Monthly membership

College Checkmate membership is billed monthly on a recurring basis unless a different arrangement is stated in writing.

Cancellation

You may cancel future monthly renewal by providing notice before the next scheduled billing date using the cancellation method stated in your Client Services Agreement or by contacting College Checkmate through the contact information on this website.

Current billing period

Cancellation stops future renewal. Unless required by law or agreed otherwise in writing, cancellation does not automatically create a prorated refund for a billing period that has already begun.

Missed or unused sessions

Scheduled sessions and support are tied to the current monthly service period. Unused sessions generally do not accumulate or roll over unless College Checkmate agrees otherwise in writing.

Refunds

Refund requests are reviewed based on the circumstances, services already provided, the Client Services Agreement, and applicable law. Duplicate or clearly erroneous charges will be corrected.

Changes to pricing

If pricing changes for an existing customer, College Checkmate will provide notice as required by the service agreement and applicable law before a new price is charged.
